What are your suggestions for which ships should have a cloaking device?

to be honest keep with the theme of lancer solurus and keep with in the theme of the factions , romulans ,klingons there the only 2 i no of that cloak except fedration experimental cloak.I no players will not like that and say cloak all the ships but the mod is themed around factions representive of sci fi shows.

I would like a cloak for the Tholian Spike(I've been thinking of this as a scout ship as of late). Since the Tholians are extragalactic entities it would stand to reason they have the know how for cloaks.

Also all B5 Shadow ships should receive cloaks due to how their ships can use hyperspace as a phase cloak.

Ok, well what I have so far added before I posted this...

All scout ships for any race, I probably missed several of the original ships since the names don't contain 'scout' in them.

Romulan BOP
D'deridex (Cap ship in The Next Gen (Star Trek))

Klingon BOP
X-Wing BOP
Neghvar

The starter ship, which is now a Hestrel (EA cargo ship).

Why does the X-wing have a cloak? Star Wars cloaks took up so much internal space that they were only possible/practical on the larger capital ships(IE Mon Cal or ISD).

Edit: I recall now the TIE Phantom had a cloak, but the resources required to produce that ship in the Star Wars universe were non existent after the TIE Phantom line.

I had a feeling you would say that, the parts above were sectioned out accordingly by race. The Klingons have a X-Wing Bird of Prey, hehe, that was the ship I was speaking of, unless requested the Star Wars ships won't get any cloaks.

I know this might be real later lol but anyways. the SCIMMITER cloaked in Startrek nemisis so it should cloak in the freelancer of salurus systems

Still exploring but after a disasterous ship choice went and rebought the Hestrel from Planet Earth. Now it does not cloak, get the "not equipped message" is that normal, can only the starter Hestrel cloak?

Any of the other freights cloak, Dromedary for example?

I don't believe I added the cloak to any of the freighters. It's not a bad idea to add it too them though. The new player starts out with a different loadout than a regular ship. There are ships out there that do cloak though.
